HOW DO I TEXT TO 911 

  • Enter the number "911" in "To" field.

  • What is your location, type of emergency and help needed.

  • Just TEXT, no photos, no emojis and no video.

  • Keep messages brief and concise.

  • Stay on the phone, be prepared to answer questions.

  • If there is no connection to the 911 center, you will get a timed out message after 20 minutes.

  • If you still need help TEXT again. Call if and when you can.
